WHAT: Veronica Beard blazer, Frame Jeans, Banana Republic camisole, Missoma London & Missoma London Necklaces
WHERE: Working from home with a video meeting.
WHY: Truth be told, I wore this blazer just for the meeting. Otherwise I was hanging out in the camisole with a big cardigan while I worked from home. And in all honest, I am barefoot because that is how I spent most of my day. Ah, the perks of working from home!
WHAT: Halogen x Atlantic-Pacific Blazer Coat (old), Frame Jeans, Gap Shoes (old) similar here, STAUD bag, Ann Taylor Scarf (sold out), Banana Republic camisole, Missoma London & Missoma London Necklaces
WHERE: I attended a press preview in the morning and then ran errands including picking up the new iPhone 11 Pro!
WHY: For the second day in a row I reached for these Frame Le Sylvie jeans which is a good sign that I love them! The weather has been chilly in the morning and warming up a little throughout the day, so this heavier blazer was the perfect weight. It can still pass as a blazer but is big enough (and heavy enough) to be a light coat as well.
WHAT: Mackage Leather Jacket (old), Jimmy Choo Knee Boots (sample sale find), Yummie Bodysuit, Caara Skirt, M2Malletier Bag (old)
WHERE: Event celebrating the 30th birthday of Botox and Botox Cosmetic
WHY: I rented this Caara skirt from Rent The Runway several months ago and ended up buying it because I loved the color and length and the fact that it's basically a sweater for your legs. I combined it with the Jimmy Choo knee high boots I scored at their spring sample sale and a Mackage leather jacket that is at least five years old. I spent a few hundred dollars on it at the time and the fact that I'm still wearing it proves it was worth the investment.
WHAT: Polo Ralph Lauren sweater, Frame jeans, Coconuts by Matisse shoes
WHERE: Worked from home.
WHY: I ended up working from home all day on Wednesday. But these shoes had just arrived and I had to try them on. So, I wore them for the shot and said that's what I would be wearing if I actually left the house!
WHAT: BCBG leather jacket (old), Agolde jeans, Polo Ralph Lauren Sweater, STAUD bag, Ann Taylor scarf (sold out), Quay sunglasses, H&M loafers (sold out)
WHERE: I had errands to run and an appointment in the afternoon in Manhattan.
WHY: I absolutely fell in love with this leather jacket the first time I saw it last fall at BCBG but I did not want to spend the money. But in the spring it went on major sale and I scooped it up. The only problem was I had to wait for fall to actually wear it again, but here it is! Let this be a lesson. If you love something and are willing to wait to wear it, late end of season sales can be an amazing option for great deals.
WHAT: BCBG coat (old), H&M sweater, STAUD bag, Ann Taylor scarf (sold out), Coconuts by Matisse shoes
WHERE: Worked from home during the day and went out with Marc to happy hour and dinner.
WHY: I wore the sweater and jeans as I worked from home and then when it was time to finally call it a week I threw on my new shoes and my very old coat and Marc and I went out for happy hour and dinner.
WHAT: & Other Stories sweater (old), Uniqlo turtleneck, Banana Republic jeans (old), Adidas shoes, Quay sunglasses
WHERE: Hanging around the house and taking the dog for a long walk.
WHY: It was one of those epic fall days with the perfect coolish temperatures that you needed a cozy sweater but not a jacket.
WHAT: Theory trench (old), J. Crew t-shirt, J. Crew jeans, Chinese Laundry shoes (old), Monrob Italy bag (old), Nine West hat (old)
WHERE: Running errands on a rainy day.
WHY: As beautiful as the weekend began it was equally as ugly on the way out. Despite the pouring rain Marc and I ran around doing errands all afternoon.
