No, summer is not over yet! Even though last week it began to feel a little chillier in the mornings. And even though the day would warm up and there was still humidity, the air just felt different. Like soon the leaves would be falling.

But not quite yet! And not before I squeeze in every opportunity to wear my summer love, the little white dress. My esteem for the LWD is well documented. In fact, I’m not sure I can say much more about just how much I appreciate a great white dress. But, yet, here I am wearing another one of them.

At this point I’m beginning to brainstorm ways to keep this trend going into the fall. I can imagine throwing a leather jacket over this & Other Stories dress, and perhaps pairing it with some cute booties.

So, September might almost be here, but you have not seen the last of this LWD. Or the many others currently taking up real estate in my closet. I’ll just have to get creative. Which sounds like a great idea for another blog post!

Sometime is all just works out.

On a side note, I am in all out packing mode right now. We leave for England tomorrow and will spend the rest of the week with Marc’s family. After unseasonably warm temps to begin the summer, it appears the country has gone back to normal. At least that is the case where we will be in Devon. So, I’m going to get my fall fix on in a hurry.

I’m excited to break out the leather jackets and light sweaters. It should be a great time and you can follow along on Instagram! I’ll have much more from our trip on the blog next week.
